Idar-Oberstein and the entire Birkenfeld National Park district have a lot to offer. This applies just as much to the diverse tourist opportunities as it does to the exciting, innovative offers from the business development agency and the broadly based trade fair program, which offers several trade fairs revolving around the unique jewelry and gemstone tradition based in Idar-Oberstein.
Representatives of the tourist information “EdelSteinLand”, the German Gemstone Road promotion association, the business development department of the city of Idar-Oberstein as well as the Idar-Oberstein trade show will present everything worth knowing and unique about Idar-Oberstein and the region during three days of GemWorld in amusing talk rounds. Questions and active participation of the public are desired. This does not only apply to the lottery, which focuses on Idar-Oberstein, its wonderful nature and the people of the region.
The whole thing will take place in the Forum in Hall B6. The individual dates to note in advance are:
Friday 27.10. 14:00 to 15:00 hrs.
Saturday 28.10. 14:00 to 14:45 hrs
Sunday 29.10. 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. All three rounds of talks will be accompanied by the reigning German Gem Queen Cécile Elligsen. So many good reasons not to miss it!
